Our revised RAD-1 uses the latest state-of-the-art Codec IC and offers all-digital high performance operation. By using the RAD, you can eliminate squelch bursts when users unkey their radios and also completely mute all DTMF. While specifically designed for use with our RC210 Deluxe Repeater Controller, the RAD-1 will provide superior delay performance with other repeater controllers as well. The RAD-1 also provides gated audio, to eliminate the problems so common in other designs. The RAD-1 can provide from 6 milliseconds to over 600 ms seconds of audio delay, continuously variable by trimpot.
